Rebekah Wade, editor of the Sun, has been arrested for an alleged assault on her husband, the EastEnders actor Ross Kemp.
Ms Wade remains in custody at a police station in south London following a dispute at the couple’s home in Battersea in the early hours of this morning.
A spokeswoman for Scotland Yard said: “At 4am this morning officers attended an address in south London regarding an alleged assault. A woman was arrested for alleged assault on a man and is now in custody at a police station in south London.”

Daily Mail hafði þetta að segja:
“Kemp sustained a cut to the mouth during the 4am disturbance at their home in Battersea, south London, but is understood to have declined medical aid. Wade will face no further action for the alleged assault, police said.”

Kemp þessi sá sem leikur harðnaglann í þáttunum Ultimate Force sem sjónvarpið sýnir nú á þriðjudagskvöldum. Kempan Henno fer fyrir sérsveitinni ógurlegu sem allt sigrar, hvort sem það eru vondir kommar,IRA skúnkar, heittrúaðir flugræningjar frá Langtbortistan eða araba Al Quida pakk. Sérlega ógeðfelldur þáttur þar sem vestræn heimsvaldastefna (eins og það hét fyrir tíma alheimsvæðingar) er málið. - Svei mér þá ef bresk sjónvarpsmyndagerð rís ekki hvað hæst í þessum þátt.

Með menn eins og Kemp við stýrið má vera nokkuð ljóst að okkur er óhætt.
